DLX+ material

The combination of lightweight construction, durability and optimal force distribution across the entire span. The top and bottom sails are made of 34 g/m² TX-Light, the front edge is made of 44 g/m² DLX+ cloth. The DLX+ increases the service life and protects against abrasion. The Little Connection Lines (LCL) serve as a predetermined breaking point and make it easier to replace the scale lines. All components of the SONIC are designed for maximum performance on any terrain.

Rigid foil technology

The Performance Tuner of the Flysurfer sonic 4 is a knot ladder integrated into the C-Pulley Line to influence the camber of the kite. Moving the Z-Main Line affects the bar forces and performance of the kite. By shortening you get more low end, steering/holding forces. Lengthening it does the opposite, you get less backstall, steering/holding forces. With the braking emphasis, power and depower settings you can optimize – depending on wind conditions and personal preferences – to exploit the kite’s maximum potential.

Reinforced construction

The Bridle Check Tool makes it easier to compare bridle lengths. There are black markings on each level (A, B, C, Z) on each wing side of the foil kite, which are compared to the front and back main lines (see line plan). In order to restore the flight pattern, the differences between the B and C planes in relation to the A plane must be compensated for by moving the rings on the mixer. We recommend regular checking using the Bridle Check Tool during intensive use of the product to maintain performance and stability.
Double Cordwise Ballooning

The PMAs are knot ladders that are sewn several times to the profile inside the foil kite. They are located on the upper and lower sails between the A and B levels. By shortening the knot ladders, the profile curvature can be adjusted, which gives the foil kite more performance or stability. If a change is made, it should be done symmetrically. We recommend the help of a FLYSURFER sales partner in correctly setting the Profile Momentum Adjuster.

The Flysurfer SONIC 4 is designed to perform exceptionally well in changing wind conditions. Whether you’re kiting in light breezes or strong gusts, it maintains its shape, responsiveness and efficiency. The enormous depower minimizes risks and ensures you can confidently push yourself to the limit in different conditions and on any terrain. The kite has a sophisticated balance system and sophisticated canopy profiles that ensure that the kite flies steadily and smoothly.

The kite features advanced aerodynamics that make it incredibly stable in various wind conditions. This allows you to fully focus on your riding instead of having to constantly correct the kite. The internal structure speeds up filling so that the kite can be controlled as quickly as possible – especially in strong winds when starting. After a crash or splashdown of the kite, it can be launched with minimal effort. In an emergency, the kite flies out on a single front line after pressing the quick release.
