A match made for each other. Given the strength and performance the Crazyfly Max board offers, it comes at a staggering light weight of 2,5 kgs. This is 0,5 kg less than the Raptor Extreme board. Carboniq binding is the lightest binding in the world and weighs only 0,65 kgs. The Max and Carboniq mark another milestone at CrazyFly with our never ending chase for lighter and better performing products. Creating a perfect match, the Max board and Carboniq binding plus all board accessories come at amazing weight of 3,3 kgs complete, ready to ride.
The Max has a V shaped keel running through the whole length of the bottom and this creates the softest possible landings. The V shape feature also creates faster acceleration and generates higher top speed, which helps for better take off and higher jumps.
Core is one of the most essential elements in every kiteboard. Therefore, we choose only the finest selection wood cores for all CrazyFly kiteboards. To have precisely shaped cores of the highest quality, we are using a CNC machine to cut the outline, drill holes, and give various 3D shapes on all cores.
For the first time ever, we have used the NW carbon, which has fibers spread in all directions. This has completely changed the boardโs characteristics. The board has much better feedback in all situations. The flex is more balanced and the board gives a lot more support in all off axis directions. Truly ready to respond to whatever you throw at it. With carbon fibers in so many directions, the board is much more responsive with increased kick for amazing pop. The boards with NW carbon have a dynamic sporty feel.
With over 20 years of experience in working with carbon, CrazyFly is stepping up with the most advanced carbon fiber technology in kiteboarding. The Max board is not made with conventional top and bottom printed sheet construction method. To radically reduce weight and showcase the raw natural beauty of Carbon, our engineers came up with the Carbon Touch technology. This technology saves at least 0,5 kg of weight and enables the user to touch and feel the carbon fibers.
Fusion Side Walls are the strongest we ever made. They are a special mix of the latest high end polymers creating unbelievable strength and bonding.
High modulus Quadraxial Carbon layup used exclusively on the Raptor Extreme and Max boards, ensures extreme strength and higher heel to toe stiffness for increased pop with more flex along the length of the board for added comfort.
The Edge Control Track on the bottom of the board provides excellent grip, better upwind and great tracking abilities of the board.
The V Tips shape provides for excellent upwind and plenty of grip for loading up jumps.
Based on over twenty years of experience in building high quality kiteboards with top performance, we simply believe that carbon fibers are irreplaceable. Carbon fibers are ultra light and at the same time extremely strong. This material is very dynamic and it returns instantly to its original shape after being stressed, which provides loads of pop in carbon fiber boards.
The Step Cap technology allows for thinner rails which enhance the upwind and tracking abilities of the board.
Invisible inserts is an innovative feature that creates a beautiful united surface of the bottom of the board. Not only does this make the board look much better, but it also does not disrupt the flex pattern of the board and allows our shapers to be more creative without limits. Inserts are only visible from the top for mounting pads and straps.
